Every piece of Teuscher Swiss Chocolate is handcrafted at our family-owned factory in Zurich, Switzerland, where our recipes have been perfected for generations.

Nut Allergy Information
Our chocolates are crafted in an environment where various nuts (including almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios, walnuts, and macadamia nuts) are used regularly. While none of our chocolates contain peanuts or coconut, we cannot guarantee they are safe for individuals with severe nut allergies, as all confections are made in the same facility.
Are your chocolates gluten free?
Gluten is not an ingredient in our chocolates. They are, however, produced in a facility that also makes pastries and cakes, so there is a small possibility of cross-contamination. In our experience, Teuscher chocolates are generally suitable for those following a gluten-free diet. For individuals with severe gluten allergies, we recommend using discretion and avoiding consumption.

-
Do not refrigerate: Cold and humid conditions cause condensation, resulting in stickiness and texture changes. If refrigeration is unavoidable in hot weather, let chocolates return to room temperature before serving.
-
Avoid excessive heat: Warm conditions may cause “bloom,” a whitish film on the chocolate. While harmless, bloom can affect texture.
Dairy free chocolates
Our dairy free options are our dark chocolate bars starting from 66% - 99%. Teuscher also offers a lactose free milk chocolate bar (upon request).
What is Gianduja?
Gianduja is a classic Italian creation - a smooth praline blend of roasted nuts (such as almonds, hazelnuts, or walnuts), rich chocolate, and confectioner’s sugar. At Teuscher, this delicate mixture is refined to perfection using our traditional triple mill, resulting in an exceptionally velvety texture and flavour.
